Project Associate-I position for a project titled- “Complex Pyrroloindoline DKPs as Strong ABC Transporter Inhibitors: From Biomimetic Synthesis to Anticancer Leads”

Position Summary

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous institution of national importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued Advertisement No. 46/2026 inviting applications from Indian nationals for one temporary position of Project Associate-I on a contract basis under an ANRF-ARG funded project.

Project: “Complex Pyrroloindoline DKPs as Strong ABC Transporter Inhibitors: From Biomimetic Synthesis to Anticancer Leads” Principal Investigator: Prof. Rajesh Viswanathan | Project Code: 30525239

Vacancy: 1 post (Project Associate-I), purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications: Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, or Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, BVSc, B.Pharm, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications: At least 1 year of project experience in synthetic/medicinal chemistry or natural products area including metabolomics and pathways.

Fellowship: INR 37,000/- + 10% HRA for scholars qualified through CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship), GATE, or equivalent national-level examinations; INR 30,000/- + 10% HRA for others.

Age: Preferably not more than 50 years as on the closing date.

Tenure: Temporary, renewable after six months subject to satisfactory performance, co-terminus with the project.
