Recruitment for Young Professional – II Position

Position Summary

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, All India Coordinated Research Project on Maize, Agricultural Research Station, Peddapuram-533437, Kakinada Dt., A.P., has scheduled a Walk-in-Interview for engagement of Young Professionals-II (YP II), purely on a temporary/contractual basis, to be held on 02-07-2026 at the Agricultural Research Station, Peddapuram.

Three positions of YP II are available. The first post requires M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics & Plant Breeding (1 post); the second requires M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy/Soil Science (1 post); and the third requires M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology (1 post). Desirable qualification for all three posts is experience in lab/field work in the area of Agriculture and having worked under AICRP projects. The age limit is a maximum of 40 years as on the date of interview. The remuneration for all positions is Rs. 42,000/- per month (consolidated).

The interview will be held at ARS, Peddapuram, on 02-07-2026 at 10:30 AM.

Interested candidates must bring a typed application appended with detailed Bio-Data, name and address of two references, affixing a recent passport-size photograph, and original certificates for verification, along with attested copies of certificates to be handed over for office use. The duration of the position is 11 months from the date of appointment. The positions are purely temporary, and selected candidates will not be entitled to any claim for regular appointment/absorption. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature. The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding in all aspects.
