Junior Research Fellow position for a project titled- “Seroprevalance, Isolation and Molecular Characterization of Bovine Herpes Virus-1 infection in bovines of Malwa and Nimar Region of Madhya Pradesh”

Position Summary

The Office of the Dean, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Mhow, Indore (M.P.), has invited applications for a Walk-in Interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contractual basis, under the research project “Seroprevalence, Isolation and Molecular Characterization of Bovine Herpes Virus-1 infection in bovines of Malwa and Nimar Region of Madhya Pradesh,” sanctioned by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal.

Interested candidates must attend the walk-in interview with their biodata, original documents, two sets of photocopies, and two attested passport-size photographs.

Date & Time of Interview: 07.07.2026 at 2:00 PM. Venue: Office of the Dean, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Mhow, Indore (M.P.).

Position Details: Number of Positions: 1. Project Duration: 2 years. Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- per month fixed, as per applicable MPCST-Government of Madhya Pradesh norms, with no HRA. Age Limit: maximum 35 years on the last date of application.

Eligibility: MVSc in Microbiology/Pathology/Biotechnology, or MSc in Microbiology/Biotechnology and allied subjects. Preference will be given to candidates with MVSc/MSc in Microbiology.

Terms and Conditions: the position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; the initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to two years based on performance and subject to availability of funds; no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview; and the position does not confer any right to claim regular or part-time appointment at the university.
