Young Professional – II position for a project titled- “Ensuring nutrition security of rural and urban communities through need based nutrition under changing life style and climatic conditions”

Position Summary

Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior (M.P.), has invited applications for a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Young Professional-II (01 post) under the project “Ensuring nutrition security of rural and urban communities through need based nutrition under changing life style and climatic conditions,” purely on a contractual basis, for up to three years or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

The walk-in-interview is scheduled for 07.07.2026 at 11:00 AM at the Directorate of Research Services, RVSKVV Admin Block, Raja Pancham Singh Marg, Near Akashwani, Gwalior, M.P. A written/skill test will also be conducted as per the requirement of the post. The emoluments for YP-II are ₹42,000/- per month. Essential qualification is M.Sc. in Food Science/Food Microbiology/Foods and Nutrition/Biotechnology/Horticulture, with desirable experience in food processing work, field/lab work, data handling, and report writing. The age limit is minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on the date of advertisement. Selection mode comprises a written/skill test and walk-in-interview.

Initially, the appointment will be made for six months only, extendable/discontinued based on performance, with the maximum duration not exceeding three years. The selected candidate has no right/claim to regular appointment or absorption into the university, and the appointment may be terminated at any time without appeal.

Candidates must submit a duly filled Application Form (Annexure-I) with passport-size photograph, signed declaration, and self-attested supporting documents (proof of age, category certificate, mark sheets/certificates from 10th class onwards, experience, research publications) at the time of interview. Original documents will be verified on the interview date; incorrect documents lead to cancellation. Only Indian citizens are eligible; no TA/DA or accommodation provided. Selected candidates must produce medical, character, and fitness/antecedent certificates at joining. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Honorable High Court, Gwalior bench.
