Position Summary

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati, has proposed to conduct a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Teaching Associate (1 post) on a full-time contract basis in the Department of Crop Physiology, S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati.

The duration of the post is 11 months from the date of joining or filling of the regular post, whichever is earlier. Essential qualifications include a Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject along with a Bachelor’s Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average; at least 3 years of teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/other engagements; and one published research paper in an SCI/NAAS rated (≥4.0) journal. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences along with a 3-year Bachelor’s and 2-year Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Remuneration is Rs. 61,000/- plus applicable HRA per month for Master’s Degree holders, and Rs. 67,000/- plus applicable HRA per month for Ph.D. Degree holders. The upper age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women. The interview is scheduled for 22-06-2026 at 11:00 AM at S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati.

Candidates should bring all original documents and attend 1 hour before the interview for verification of resume/bio-data, along with one set of bio-data, Xerox copies of educational qualifications and other certificates, social status proof, and a passport-size photo.

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual, terminable after 11 months or filling of the regular post, whichever is earlier, with no claim to regular appointment or continuation. Contractual engagements can be terminated at any time without prior notice. No TA/DA will be given. The decision of the selection committee is final, and the Associate Dean reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview.
