Technical Officer/Senior Project Associate position for a project titled- “Immune responses associated with severe dengue infection”

Position Summary

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous institution of national importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued Advertisement No. 47/2026 inviting applications from Indian nationals for one temporary position of Technical Officer/Senior Project Associate on a contract basis under an extramural funded project.

Vacancy: 1 post, purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications (any one of the following): Four-year Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/BVSc/Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology/Medicine with four years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations; OR Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biological Sciences) with two years of R&D experience; OR Doctoral Degree in Life Science/Bio-Engineering/Biotechnology with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication indexed in PubMed, SCOPUS, or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in infectious disease research, mammalian cell culture, handling of pathogenic viruses, protein expression and purification, and molecular biology techniques.

Monthly Emoluments: INR 57,000/- + 10% HRA.

Age Limit: Not more than 50 years on the date of interview.

Tenure: Initial offer for six months, renewable subject to satisfactory performance; co-terminus with the project.
