Position Summary
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Research and Development Section, has invited applications for an online interview for a position under the project titled “Targeting the EbpB-σ54 regulatory cascade to mitigate severe Leptospirosis,” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati, funded by ICMR, under Principal Investigator Dr. Manish Kumar.
Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical), 1 vacancy.
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology or its allied subjects. Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in life sciences in the area of microbiology; experience in microbial genetics, biotechnology, and genetic engineering; preference will be given to those with experience working with infectious bacterial diseases.
Remuneration: Pay recommended Rs. 56,000, plus HRA of Rs. 5,600 (Medical: NA), totaling Rs. 61,600. Duration of appointment: 11 months.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifications specified in the advertisement, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited by email to attend the online interview; no separate call letters will be issued. Selection will be based on performance in the online interview.
