Position Summary

CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, has issued Notification No. W0626/B inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for a Walk-in-Interview on 24.06.2026 for a temporary, contractual position. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – 1 position (Post Code W010626B), area: Quantum chemistry, conjugation, and Biosensing. Project: GAP000682 “Single-Electron Transistor (SET)-based Biosensor using Functionalized Quantum Dots for Ultra-sensitive Detection of Biomarkers” (PI: Dr. Ira Bhatnagar; Co-PI: Dr. Shiv Pratap Singh Yadav), with project duration until 31st May 2029.

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology from a recognized University with NET/GATE qualification. Desirable/Job Description: synthesizing quantum dots and standardizing biosensing through QD-Aptamer conjugates, with a minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in electrochemical detection for aptamer-based biosensing, qPCR, and Western blotting preferred.

Upper Age Limit: 35 years, reckoned as on the date of the walk-in interview. Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 37,000 + HRA, as admissible.
