Your tasks:
- Monitoring project progress at interfaces for clinical and omics-based research data
- Support in setting up clinical cohorts
- Ensuring, continuously monitoring and auditing data quality
- Development and implementation of cluster-wide standards for research data management
- Participation in the creation, further development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance and data management policy.
- Quality assurance and coordination of documentation and metadata standards in the field of research data management
- Support in implementing and monitoring data protection requirements (especially GDPR, records of processing activities and compliance structures)
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration within the PMI Cluster of Excellence with clinical partners, bioinformatics, IT infrastructure and other research groups
Your profile:
- Successfully completed university degree in medical informatics, bioinformatics or a comparable scientific, medical or technical discipline
- Proven experience in managing clinical research data and/or omics data in the context of biomedical research (ideally in the environment of PMI-relevant data structures)
- Experience in monitoring project progress during organizational and technical transitions, ideally in the context of biomedical collaborative projects
- Sound knowledge of common data standards, data models and formats in the biomedical research environment
- Excellent German (at least C1) and English skills (at least C1) in spoken and written form.

Desirable features include:
- Experience in quality management of complex translational research projects and in coordination at the interfaces between clinical research, biobanking and data infrastructures is advantageous.
