Your tasks:
- Administrative management of the CeTEB research center, including coordination of CeTEB-related activities and management of day-to-day operations
- Budget responsibility and management
- Management of the general CeTEB infrastructure, including collaboration with the university’s building management as well as technical services and external service providers.
- Coordination of cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the university administrations, the Biology Section, and other participating institutions.
- Promoting young talent, equality, public relations and networking
- Further development of the research center, including support in the development of new research initiatives.
- Direct support in the implementation of ongoing research initiatives
Your profile:
- Completed university studies and a very good completed doctorate in natural sciences or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the development and scientific coordination of research consortia
- Several years of experience in budget management
- Proven experience in collaborating with managers, committees and working groups; familiarity with university structures and their typical decision-making, voting and participation processes.
- German language skills (level C2), English language skills (level C1)

- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking skills, a structured and proactive approach
- Teamwork skills and excellent communication skills
- High level of cooperation skills with colleagues from various areas of the university
- Working independently
Desirable features include:
- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams

- Experience in managing scientific institutions or centers
- Knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health
