IIT Palakkad is recruiting one Project Technical Support-III for an ICMR-funded project in virology and molecular biology.

Project Details:

• Project Area: “Understanding Host–Virus Interactions Crucial for the Chandipura Virus Life Cycle at the Molecular Level”
• Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
• Location: IIT Palakkad, Kanjikode West, Palakkad, Kerala

Position Details:

• Vacancies: 1
• Salary: ₹30,800/month (consolidated)
• Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable up to a total of 3 years based on satisfactory performance
• Hostel accommodation may be available on a chargeable basis subject to availability

Eligibility:

• Essential: MSc/MS/MTech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or other relevant areas
• Must have GATE score above 425, CSIR-JRF, or any equivalent national-level exam qualification
• Required Skills: Hands-on experience in molecular biology and microbiology techniques

Age Limit: Maximum 31 years as on the closing date of application. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PwD and women candidates as per GoI norms.
