IIT (BHU) Varanasi is recruiting one Project JRF for a DBT-funded project in biomedical engineering and biosensor development.

Project Details:

Position Details:

• Vacancies: 1
• Emoluments: ₹37,000/month + 18% HRA (HRA as per institute rules if campus accommodation is not provided)
• Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project

Eligibility:

• Essential: First class in M.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Bioprocess Engineering/Technology, Chemical Engineering/Technology, or Industrial Microbiology; OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Food Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetic Science/Engineering, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, or Environmental Technology — with GATE/NET or equivalent national-level examination qualification
• Desirable: Minimum 2 years of research experience with hands-on expertise in biomaterials, biodegradable polymers, biosensors, implantable/wearable medical devices, flexible electronics, wireless sensing, tissue engineering, and in vivo preclinical studies including small animal (rat) surgery and biomedical device validation. Knowledge of material characterization, histology, data analysis, and scientific writing is also desirable. Preference given to candidates with national-level exam qualifications (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, DBT-BET, ICMR-JRF) and relevant research publications
