Recruitment for Young Professional – I and II Position

Position Summary

The Division of Agronomy, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, New Delhi-110012, has invited applications for an Online Interview for 03 contractual positions — Young Professional-II (01), Young Professional-I (01), and Field Assistant worker (01) — under projects executed at the Division. These positions are temporary, unreserved, and co-terminus with the respective project.

For Young Professional-II, under the project “Revamping income and livelihood of the Farmers through improved technological interventions in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh,” essential qualification is a Master’s degree (First class) in Agronomy, with desirable experience in field experiments, soil/plant nutrient analysis, computer applications, statistical analysis, and report writing. Emoluments are Rs. 42,000/- consolidated per month, with an upper age limit of 45 years.

For Field Assistant worker, under the same Bulandshahr project, qualification is 10th class pass, with experience in field work, sowing, irrigation, weeding, harvesting, sample preparation, soil sample collection, and lab maintenance. Emoluments are Rs. 20,000/- per month fixed, with an upper age limit of 35 years.

For Young Professional-I, under the project “Evaluating Aldor as a Sustainable Nitrogen Source in Rice-Wheat Cropping Systems,” essential qualification is B.Sc. (Ag) (First class), with similar desirable experience in field work and computer applications. Emoluments are Rs. 30,000/- consolidated per month, with an upper age limit of 45 years.

Age relaxation is five years for SC/ST/Women and three years for OBC. NOC is required if currently employed. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No regular leave entitlement, except CL/RH up to 10 days/year. Candidates must declare relatives employed at ICAR/IARI. Original documents and medical certificate required at joining. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
