Position Summary

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, has issued Advertisement No. 02/2026 inviting applications for 35 posts across various departments, including College of Veterinary Science (Rampura Phul, Bathinda), Veterinary Polytechnic & RR&TC Kaljharani (Bathinda), RR&TC Booh (Tarn Taran), RR&TC Talwara (Hoshiarpur), and KVK Majra (SAS Nagar). Application Fee: Rs. 2,360 (including GST) for Sr. Nos. 18-22 and 32; Rs. 1,770 for other posts. Fee must be paid online, with the payment link active from 20.06.2026; the fee is non-refundable, and PwD candidates get 50% exemption.

Pay Scales: Academic Level 13A (Rs. 1,31,400 entry pay) for Sr. Nos. 18-22, 32; Academic Level 10 (Rs. 57,700 entry pay) for Sr. Nos. 1-17, 23-30, 33; Rs. 56,100 for Sr. Nos. 34-35; Rs. 47,600 for Sr. No. 31.

Key conditions: Most posts require B.V.Sc./allied bachelor’s, relevant master’s with minimum OCPA/marks, Punjabi language qualification, and NET (with possible exemption for qualifying Ph.D. holders). Probation period is three years; selected candidates must execute a bond. Posts 18-29, 32, 34-35 are scheme-based and co-terminus with the scheme. No TA/DA for interviews; canvassing leads to disqualification.
