Salary

• Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA for candidates with CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) or GATE and a selection process through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- + 16% HRA for candidates if NET is not cleared.

Location
Department of Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University.

Eligibility

• B.V.Sc. & AH/ BSc in Natural or Basic Sciences (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Microbiology) or bachelor’s degree in Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0.
• Master’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences/ Natural/ Basic Sciences (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Microbiology) with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0.
• NET/GATE (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Punjabi up to matric level (relaxable if the candidate is found otherwise deserving).

Age Limit
35 years

Job Responsibilities

• To assist in semen collection, cryopreservation and other research work of the project.
• To keep records of the cases under the project.
• To perform Nano purification of semen, electrophoresis western blotting and proteomics work.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the PI.

Requirements

• Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in Semen cryopreservation and nanotechnology/molecular biology.
