Eligibility

• Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Desirable: Specialization in genetic engineering, bioinformatics tools, or CRISPR/Cas9 technology.

Age Limit
21-45 years (Relaxation as per GOI rules)

Requirements

• Optimization of pre-treatment and scarification of cotton lignocellulosic biomass for efficient xylose release.
• CRISPR/Cas9 mediated genome editing in Saccharomyces cerevisiae for enhanced xylitol production.
• Optimization of conditions for maximum xylitol production using Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
• Interpretation of results, writing research reports, and any other works assigned by PI.
