Project Associate-I – IISER Pune (Advt. No. 43/2026)

IISER Pune is recruiting one Project Associate-I on a temporary contractual basis for a privately funded project focused on medicinal plant propagation.

Project Details:

Position Details:

• Vacancies: 1
• Emoluments: ₹25,000/month + 24% HRA
• Tenure: Initially 6 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project continuation
• No right to permanent absorption at IISER Pune or the funding agency

Eligibility:

• Essential: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences from a recognised university or equivalent
• Preferred: Post-degree hands-on experience in plant tissue culture aseptic techniques including plant growth media preparation, micropropagation, rooting, hardening, plant maintenance, somatic embryogenesis, labelling, and batch data recording. Candidates must clearly mention whether their experience is from commercial plant tissue culture labs, dissertation projects, or other means

Job Role: The selected candidate will conduct plant tissue culture work and travel as required in connection with the project.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of the Walk-in Interview. Age relaxation may be considered for candidates with higher qualifications or experience, with prior approval.
