Young Professional – II position for a project titled- “Development of multiplex and point-of-care diagnostics for Lumpy skin disease”

Position Summary

ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Mukteswar-Nainital, Uttarakhand, has announced a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Young Professional-II (One position), under the ICAR-Consortia Research Platform on Vaccines & Diagnostics, ICAR funded project on “Development of multiplex and point-of-care diagnostics for Lumpy skin disease.”

The essential qualification is a Master’s degree in the discipline of Veterinary Science/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Bacteriology/Virology/Immunology or Life Sciences. Desirable work experience includes handling mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, immunological techniques, and propagation of viruses.

The emoluments are Rs. 42,000/- per month as a consolidated emolument as per ICAR guidelines. The age limit is minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years on the date of interview, with relaxation as per GOI rules. The duration of the project is initially up to 31.03.2027 or end of the project, whichever is earlier, extendable based on the needs of the organization and performance of the candidate.

The walk-in-interview is scheduled for 24.06.2026 at 11:00 AM at the Division of Virology, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Mukteswar Campus, Nainital, Uttarakhand, PIN-263138.
