Recruitment for Young Professional – I Position

Position Summary

Karwar Regional Station of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Young Professional-I (YP-I) under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) Project.

One vacancy is available, reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates. The nature of the post is purely temporary on a contract basis, for up to 1 year. The age limit is minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, relaxable as per rules. The emoluments are Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated), and the place of posting is Karwar. The essential qualification is a Graduate degree in Fisheries Science/Zoology/Life Sciences.

The temporary appointment will be for a specific period, and services will automatically stand terminated either with the termination of the Project/Scheme or even before, at the discretion of the Competent Authority, without any claim for regular employment at ICAR-CMFRI or any other ICAR Institutes.
