Senior Research Fellow position under the project Improving Income of Rural Household Through Integrated livelihood

Position Summary

Kisan Kaushal Vikas Kendra (KKVK), Agriculture University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has announced a Walk-in Interview for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), on a purely contractual basis, for the project “Improving Income of Rural Household Through Integrated Livelihood” under the CER initiative of Barmer Lignite Mining Co. Ltd. (BLMCL) in Barmer District.

Vacancy: 1 post of Senior Research Fellow.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years, with age relaxation as per ICAR norms for reserved categories.

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (as per host institute rules).

Essential Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Agricultural/Animal Sciences, preferably in Agronomy, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Soil Science, or related disciplines, from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in organizing livelihood project-related activities at farmers’ fields/villages; good knowledge of computer applications, data organization, report writing, and IP management; and good, effective communication skills.

Interview Details: The interview will be held on 19.06.2026 at 11:00 AM at KKVK, Agriculture University, Jodhpur. Candidates must bring a duly filled application form (in the prescribed format with all documents) downloaded from the university website at the time of the interview. Employed candidates must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Key Terms and Conditions: The post is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project/scheme, with no claim to any permanent position in KVK/University. The appointment will initially be for six months and may be extended further based on project requirements and the SRF’s performance. Selected candidates may leave the project by giving one month’s prior notice.
