Position of Research Assistant in Computational Biology and Single Cell Analysis

In our group, we combine single-cell somics, spatial transcriptomics and machine learning to understand tumor biology and develop new diagnostic methods. Your role

As a research assistant, you will work with bioinformatic analysis of single-cell data with a focus on the detection of rare cells in tumor tissue. Duties include:

• Analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) and spatial transcriptomics data
• Development and application of computational methods for the identification of rare cell types
• Documentation of analysis pipelines and results
• Collaboration with other group members on ongoing research projects
• Contributions to scientific publications and presentations

Who are you?

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, precision medicine, biomedicine or equivalent.
• Good programming skills in R and Python
• Experience with Linux environment and bash scripting
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Experience in analysis of single cell somics data
• Experience in cancer-related research

Merit:

• Previous laboratory experience in molecular biology
