In the field of nutritional physiology of cultivated plants, we work to breed healthy plants and make them more efficient in nutrient uptake. Teamwork with students is a key focus.
YOUR MAIN TASKS
• Nutrient and metabolite analyses using various measuring devices, device maintenance
• Participation in plant-related work in the laboratory and greenhouse
• Assessment and sampling in the greenhouse
• Bacteria and yeast cultivation
• Preparation of media and nutrient solutions
• Support for work in the field of molecular biology / production and selection of transgenic plants
• General laboratory tasks, such as ordering supplies
YOUR PROFILE
• Completed training as a technical assistant, biology laboratory technician, plant technologist or comparable relevant vocational training
• Practical experience in analytical / molecular biological laboratory methods
• a careful, structured and reliable way of working
• Teamwork skills, commitment and organizational skills
• Good German and English skills
