Eligibility

• First-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences with qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examination.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of Parkinson’s Disease, neuro-biology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology and cell biology.

Desirable Qualifications

• Candidates with hands-on experience in maintenance and differentiation of primary cell cultures and iPSCs, and expertise in fundamental techniques and functional assays of neuro biology, Parkinson’s Disease, cell culture, molecular biology techniques will be given preference. (This will also be the screening criteria).

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 32 years for general category.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST, physically handicapped, and female candidates, as per Government of India rules.
