• Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA (For Ph.D Holders)
• Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA (For Master’s Degree Holders)
• HRA will be given as per existing State Government rates as applicable to place of working

Location

• Regional Agricultural Research Station, Noonepalli, Nandyal – 518 502, Nandyal Dist., Andhra Pradesh

Eligibility

• Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding OR M.Sc. (Ag) in Genetics and Plant Breeding with 1st Division and with three years of working experience in agricultural crops with preference in Chickpea crop
• All relevant degrees should be completed in ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges
• One Research Paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal
• Candidate must be amicable to extensive touring to farmer’s fields

Requirements

• Duration: 11 months
• The individual is engaged purely on temporary and contractual basis which will be terminated after completion of 11 months
• Candidates fulfilling the essential qualification only need to attend the walk-in interview
• The engaged candidates will be required to undergo medical examination at their own expenses as per the rules for ensuring their physical fitness before attending for duty
• At the end of the contract period, the candidate will have no right to claim any regular appointment or engagement in the ANGRAU (or) in any Government organization
• The engaged candidates may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof
• The engaged candidates may also leave the contractual service on their own violation, by giving one-month prior notice
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidature or termination even after selection
• No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants for appearing in interview

Age Limit

• Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview
