Salary

• Teaching Associate (For Ph.D holders): Rs. 67,000/- per month plus applicable HRA.
• Teaching Associate (For Master Degree holders): Rs. 61,000/- per month plus applicable HRA. (The HRA will be given as per the existing state Govt. Rates applicable in various places/locations).
• Teaching Assistant: Rs. 35,000/- consolidated pay per month.

Eligibility

• For Teaching Associate: Ph.D in Agricultural sciences, OR Master’s Degree in Agricultural sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having first division or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associate ship / Training / Other engagements. Must have published one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI)/NAAS rated (>=4.0) Journal. Candidates having post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree must have NET qualification. All the relevant degrees should be completed in the ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges only.
• For Teaching Assistant: B.Sc (Ag) / B.Tech (Ag.Engg) degree of four years.

Requirements

• The positions are purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a period of 11 months.
• The engaged candidates may leave the contractual service on their own volition by giving a one-month notice.
• The temporary engagement may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason.
• Selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at their own expenses as per the rules for ensuring their physical fitness before engagement.

Age Limit

• Teaching Associate: Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview.
• Teaching Assistant: Upper age limit is 35 years on the date of interview.
