Salary

  • Project Assistant: Rs. 20000/- per month (consolidated)
  • Young Professional-I (YP-I): Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated)
  • Field Assistant: Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated)

Eligibility

  • Project Assistant (Essential): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Allied Sciences/Basic Sciences/Computer Applications or equivalent discipline from a recognized University.
  • Project Assistant (Desirable): M.Sc./Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Basic Sciences, Computer Applications or related discipline, along with experience in farmer-oriented field work, ICT/computer applications, data collection, analysis, documentation and agricultural extension activities.
  • Young Professional-I (Essential): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Basic or Life Sciences or equivalent discipline from a recognized University with 60% marks/equivalent grade.
  • Young Professional-I (Desirable): M.Sc./Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plant Pathology/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology or related discipline, with experience in mushroom cultivation, spawn production, agricultural/fibre-waste utilization, laboratory and field work, farmer training, documentation and extension activities.
  • Field Assistant (Essential): Bachelor’s Degree in Science from recognized University.
  • Field Assistant (Desirable): Preference will be given to local candidates from Tuting area, Upper Siang District having familiarity with the local area, farming conditions and field conditions. The selected candidate should stay at Tuting during the project period for smooth implementation of field activities. Experience in field surveys, farmer interaction, data collection, documentation and implementation of agricultural/extension programmes will be desirable.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess the prescribed educational qualification on the date of interview.
  • Candidates having relevant experience in mushroom cultivation, mushroom spawn production, laboratory work, farmer training, Integrated Farming Systems, ICT applications, field surveys, extension activities and documentation, as applicable to the respective post, will be given preference.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

  • Field Assistant: Below 35 years of age.
