The Chair of Crop Science at the University of Hohenheim combines excellent basic and applied research with modern, practice-oriented teaching in a variety of agricultural science degree programs. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a deep understanding of crop processes, systemic relationships, and agronomic control mechanisms, who will contribute to crop science research, drive innovation, and bring enthusiasm for modern teaching methods.

fixed-term contract, E13 TV-L, 65%, 01.09.2026-15.03.2027
YOUR TASKS
- Evaluation of field and greenhouse trials
- Collection of relevant growth and development parameters; data analysis and statistical processing
- Conducting various ingredient analyses (HPLC, GC, wet chemical analyses)
- Participation in research events and conferences
- Publishing results in scientific journals
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or comparable qualifications
- Experience in conducting field and greenhouse trials, as well as in collecting growth-relevant data and analyzing corresponding ingredients.
- Excellent knowledge of SAS and R
- Driving licence category B
- Very good German and English skills
- A very high degree of independent work and above-average motivation
