Duration
Initially for 6 (six) months and likely to be extended further based on availability of budget. This is a temporary contractual post.

Eligibility

• Essential: B.Sc. Agriculture/ Horticulture from recognized university
• Desirable: Two year experience in conducting field evaluation of hybrids/ varieties
• Preference will be given to candidates having higher qualification/ experience.
• Only candidates fulfilling the essential qualification need to submit the application.

Project Objectives

• Evaluation of rice hybrids/ varieties.
• Development of trained manpower in the field of plant breeding.
• To conduct the product testing trials.

Nature of Duties

• Preparation of field layout and sowing/ transplanting of various research trials.
• Recording various observations related to the research trials.
• Field management of research trials.
• Data filling and analysis of research data.
• Technical correspondence related to research work.
