Project Technical Support-II – AIIMS Jodhpur, Dept. of Microbiology

AIIMS Jodhpur is recruiting two Project Technical Support-II posts on a purely temporary contractual basis for an ICMR-funded antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance project.

Position Details:

• Vacancies: 2
• Salary: ₹24,000/month (consolidated)
• Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 2 years throughout the project
• Purely co-terminus with the project; no right to permanent employment at AIIMS/ICMR

Eligibility — Any one of the following:

• Class 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + 5 years of experience in relevant subject/field
• Three-year Graduate degree in relevant subject/field + 2 years of experience in Microbiology

Desirable: Experience in Microbroth Dilution (AST/AFST). Selected candidates may need to do field work and must be conversant with computers.

Job Role: Daily teaching of lab staff regarding basic microbiological techniques and investigations; daily data entries into the ICMR portal; daily communication with secondary care hospitals and coordination of isolate transfer; participation in study tool finalization, participant recruitment, data collection, record keeping, preparing stocks, and performing microbroth dilution for Colistin and Tigecycline; organizing sensitization and training workshops; updating PIs on project progress and coordinating with Co-PIs at other sites.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation as per Government rules.
