Project Technical Support-II (Field Staff) – AIIMS Jodhpur, Dept. of Microbiology

AIIMS Jodhpur is recruiting one Project Technical Support-II (Field Staff) on a purely temporary contractual basis for a PM-ABHIM, ICMR-funded project focused on developing diagnostics for neglected fungal diseases in India.

Position Details:

• Vacancies: 1 (UR)
• Remuneration: ₹20,000/month + 20% HRA (consolidated, based on qualifications, experience, and skill set)
• Duration: 9 months
• Purely co-terminus with the project; no right to permanent employment at AIIMS Jodhpur

Eligibility — Any one of the following:

• Class 12th in Science + Diploma in MLT + 5 years of experience in relevant subject/field
• Three-year Graduate degree in relevant subject + 2 years of experience in relevant subject

Desirable: Experience in field work and data collection; experience in molecular techniques.

Job Role: Community outreach and coordination with ASHA workers, data collection and entry, building local connections, specimen and PCR handling. The role involves field work in villages of Rajasthan — candidates must be willing to travel and work in rural settings.

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years. Age relaxation as per Government rules. Age concession for service rendered in other research projects may be considered on a case-to-case basis.
