Position Summary
The Department of Food & Nutrition, School of Home Science, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), a Central University at Vidya Vihar, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow, invites applications for three purely temporary positions under the research project “Learning Initiative for Vitamin A and D Fortification Programming” (session 2026–27). The project is a collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh; BBAU, Lucknow; ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad; FSSAI, New Delhi; and SJRI, Bengaluru (Letter No. 760/FN/SHS/BBAU/2026).
The first post is Project Coordinator (01), with emoluments of ₹93,600/month for a duration of 10 months. The eligibility is a Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field (awarded or thesis submitted), with a strong research background in public health and nutrition; experience in project management, research coordination, field supervision, and stakeholder engagement is preferred.
The second post is Senior Field Investigator cum Optometrist (01), at ₹45,000/month for 11 months. The eligibility is a Master’s degree in community nutrition, public health, social sciences, optometry (M.Optom.), or a related field, with a minimum of three years’ experience in community eye health programs or research projects.
The third post is Field Assistant (01), at ₹20,000/month for 11 months. The essential qualification is a graduate degree from a recognized board; desirable: a valid LMV driving licence with driving experience, basic vehicle maintenance and office documentation knowledge, and familiarity with local/rural field logistics.
The last date for application submission is 27 June 2026. Applicants must apply in the prescribed format (Annexure A) and upload details via the post-specific Google Form links provided, with supporting documents. Interviews are in hybrid mode; candidates must bring a filled application form, original documents with self-attested copies, a recent CV, and two passport photos. No TA/DA is paid.
