Applications are invited for the post of two Project Assistants/Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in the DBT Wellcome Trust India Alliance Intermediate Fellowship entitled “Stop-codon mutations and stop-codon dysfunction – role in physiology and cancer” under the supervision of Dr. Sonam Dhamija, Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University, New Delhi.

Qualifications: The minimum qualification is a 4-year Bachelor’s or a Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) in life sciences/biotechnology/basic sciences. Prior experience in mammalian cell culture, basic molecular biology, cloning and expression studies is desirable.

Consolidated Fixed Emoluments per Month:

Rs.37,000/- + HRA (for NET / GATE qualified candidates) Or

Rs.30,000/- + HRA (without NET / GATE qualified)

The position is temporary and the initial recruitment, will be for one year and maybe extended for one more year, based on satisfactory progress.
