Engagement Duration
Initially up to March 2027, extendable up to two more years based on requirement or till the end of the project duration, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science / Zoology / Marine Biology / Biochemistry / Food Science and Technology / Nutrition from recognized University

Desirable Qualification/Experience

• Master’s Degree in Fish Processing Technology / Food Science and Technology / Zoology / Marine Biotechnology / Biochemistry with hands-on expertise in protein/peptide purification, biochemical analysis will be preferred.

Requirements

• To conduct R&D activities aligned with the project objectives

Age Limit

• 50 years as on 30.07.2026
• Age relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, 03 years for OBC.

Eligibility

• Only candidates who have already acquired the essential qualification and whose results have been declared are eligible to apply. Result awaited / Final semester appeared or appearing are not eligible.
• Candidates who have completed a total tenure of 6 years or more as Project Staff in any CSIR Lab/Institute are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for these positions.
