The responsibilities include:
• working on a research project in the context of new breeding methods and genome editing in bovine embryos
• instructing and supervising a technical staff member in the project
• assisting with student internships
Required profile:
• A completed university degree in agricultural sciences, biology, veterinary medicine, or related fields (Diploma or Master’s) is required
• Experience in the in vitro production of bovine embryos
• Strong interest in scientific questions
• Willingness to pursue a doctorate and to be accepted into the Graduate School of Forest and Agricultural Sciences (GFA) at the University of Göttingen
• Willingness to supervise project-related theses (BSc and MSc theses)
• Willingness to collaborate in an interdisciplinary and international research group
The position is intended to support the qualification of early-career researchers and offers the opportunity to pursue a doctorate.
