Salary

• Rs. 35,000 per month + 30% HRA for scholars selected through:
• National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC-NET or GATE
• National level Examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and departments
• Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA for others who do not fall under the above categories (as per DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10-7-2020)

Eligibility

• Essential: Master’s degree in Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology or Post graduate degree in basic sciences (botany and allied sciences) from a recognized university/institute or equivalent.
• Essential: Two years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services.
• Desirable: Research experience in phytoplasma diseases and molecular techniques.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 35 years as on the date of interview.
• Relaxation in upper age limit: women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years). Age for other eligible categories shall be applicable as per GOI/ICAR rules.
