Your tasks

• Project participation and networking – Active participation in an interdisciplinary research project, including building a strong network with partners from science and industry.
• Analytics and characterization – Analysis of biotransformations for the production of long-chain glucan polymers
• Production and adaptation – development or adaptation of expression systems to increase the yields of recombinant proteins, use of mutagenesis to adapt enzymatic parameters
• Knowledge transfer – publication of results in internationally renowned journals, presentation at conferences
• Project management – ​​organization and coordination of the research area
• Empowerment – ​​further development of professional and methodological skills

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in food chemistry, food biotechnology, nutritional science, chemical engineering or a related discipline
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in enzyme expression, expertise in the analysis of enzymatic products
• A solid foundation in biochemistry and an understanding of food technology
• A strong scientific curiosity, a love of experimentation, and a desire to drive interdisciplinary innovation.
• A structured and self-reliant work style combined with creativity and genuine team orientation.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
