Salary

Eligibility
Project Technical Support – III (Senior Technician):

• For Molecular Biology / Histology / Cell Culture / General Laboratory/ Life sciences domain: Three-year Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Histology / Medical Laboratory Technology / Allied Health Sciences plus Three (3) years’ experience in relevant subject/field OR Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject.
• For Data entry, Data management, data handling skills domain: Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject plus Three (3) years’ experience in relevant subject/field.

Project Technical Support – II (Technician):

• 12th Pass in Science with Diploma (DMLT / MLT / Histotechnology / Allied Health) plus 5 years’ experience OR Three-year Graduate Degree in relevant subject with 2 years’ experience.

Requirements
Specific Domain Requirements:

• Molecular Biology Support: Experience in DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, electrophoresis; Assistance in NGS workflows and ELISA assays; Biological sample processing and storage.
• Histology Support: Experience in Tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and slide preparation; Routine staining (H&E) and special stains; Assistance in immunohistochemistry (IHC) (desirable); Microscopy imaging and documentation.
• Cell Culture Support (Senior Technician): Hands-on experience in Mammalian cell culture techniques under aseptic conditions; Media preparation, cell maintenance, passaging, cryopreservation, and revival; Contamination monitoring and biosafety cabinet handling; Performing viability assays and assisting in experimental infection/drug-response models; Maintenance of culture logs, incubators, and sterile workflow compliance.
• General Laboratory / Project Support: Experience in Microbiology or translational laboratory assistance; Media preparation, sterilization, and equipment upkeep; Sample transport, labeling, and inventory tracking; Documentation and maintenance of laboratory records.

Desirable Skills (All Domains):

• Experience in biomedical or translational research projects.
• Familiarity with biosafety and infection-control practices.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, database entry).
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary clinical–engineering teams.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.

Tenure and Conditions:

• The posts are temporary in nature and will be filled up purely on contractual basis with initial appointments for Eleven (11) months.
• Method of Selection: Shortlisting based on qualifications and experience, followed by a skill test for shortlisted candidates, and an in-person interview.
• Candidates will not be reimbursed for travel allowance to attend the interview/joining.

Age Limit

• 35 years for Project Technical Support- III
• 30 years for Project Technical Support- II
• Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.
