Eligibility

• Young Professional: M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Soil Science (for two posts) and Agronomy (for one post)
• Project Assistant: B.Sc. (Agriculture)

Requirements

• For Young Professional (Desirable): Work experience in conduct of field trials, soil and plant analysis, statistical analysis, soil and plant sampling, execution and monitoring of project activities, and knowledge of computer is essential.
• For Project Assistant (Desirable): Work experience of soil, plant and manure testing, soil and plant sampling, execution and monitoring of project activities, and knowledge of computer is essential.

Job Description

• Young Professional: To render assistance to the PI & Co-PIs of the project in research, implementation of the project activities, sample collection analysis, and preparation of report.
• Project Assistant: To render assistance to the PI, Co-PIs, and Young Professionals of the project in research, implementation of the project activities, sample collection, field activities, and office correspondence.

Age Limit

• Up to 38 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/NT and 3 years for OBC as per University rule)

• Walk-In-Interview Date: 06.08.2026 at 1100 hrs onwards

• Eligible candidates must report for the walk-in-interview on 06.08.2026 at 1100 hrs onwards.
• Venue: Chamber of Head, Department of Soil Science, Dr. PDKV, Akola.
• Candidates must bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies along with a latest passport size photograph.
• Candidates must fill and submit the prescribed Application Proforma.

Terms and Conditions

• The posts are purely on Adhoc on contractual basis and the incumbents shall not have any claim for regular appointment under Dr. PDKV, Akola.
• No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
• The leave and other benefits will be as per existing norms of the University.
• The top ten candidates with maximum marks and experience in the field of soil and plant sampling, project execution, and analysis will be called for the interview.
• If the number of candidates is large, a written test will be conducted.
• The term of appointment will be co-terminus with the period of the project or earlier based on the performance of the candidates.
• No accommodation will be provided.
