Nature of Position

• Purely on contractual basis
• Temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project
• Appointment will be yearly based on the progress and fund availability
• Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at the Institute as the position is co-terminus with the project

Eligibility

• Essential: Post graduate degree in relevant subjects or Degree in Agricultural Science as per ICAR OM No.F.No.Agril.Edn.1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020.
• Desirable:
• Master’s degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding disciplines.
• Experience on field-based characterization, evaluation and phenotyping of germplasm in cucurbitaceous/vegetable crops.
• Knowledge in computer applications, data collection & handling, and statistical analysis.

Age Limit

• Maximum age 45 years for Young Professional-II.
• Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST/Women.
• Age relaxation of three years for OBC.
