Eligibility

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Bioinformatics / M.Sc. Biotechnology / M.Sc. Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology
• Desirable Qualification and Experience:
• NET in concerned subject
• NGS data analysis
• Relevant experience of bioinformatic analysis (experience should be reflected through publications/thesis/experience letter)

Requirements

• Roles and responsibilities:
• Genomic data analysis (NGS sequencing) and its submission
• GWAS for various traits
• QTLs/Gene discovery and validation for various traits
• Transcriptome experiment and analysis
• Any other assignment related to project
• Terms and Conditions:
• Position is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the research project.
• Project duration: up to 28.02.2027.
• No legal right to claim regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post in the University.
• Prior notice of one month is essential in case of relinquishing the post.
• Initial appointment is for one year only; extension (annually) may be granted subject to satisfactory performance.
• Eligible candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of interview separately.
• No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
