Project Associate-I – CSIR-IIIM, Jammu (MMP-075202)

CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu is inviting candidates for a Walk-in Interview for one Project Associate-I position under the CSIR-funded project “A Comprehensive Approach to Addressing Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)” (Project No. MMP-075202). The project tackles the growing global threat of antimicrobial resistance through an integrated research approach.

Position Details:

• Position Code: 01
• Vacancies: 1 (may vary at the time of interview)
• Stipend: ₹31,000/month + HRA (for NET/GATE/national exam qualified candidates) or ₹25,000/month + HRA (for others)
• Duration: Up to 31 March 2027
• Location: CSIR-IIIM, Canal Road, Jammu

Eligibility:

• Essential: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Zoology from a recognised university
• Desirable: Knowledge of basic molecular and microbiology techniques

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Important Conditions:

• Total CSIR engagement across all labs must not exceed 6 years
• The position is purely temporary with no right to permanent absorption in CSIR-IIIM or CSIR
• Candidates currently working at CSIR-IIIM must obtain an NOC before applying
• Performance will be reviewed periodically; engagement can be terminated without notice

Walk-in Interview Details:

• Date: 6 July 2026 (Monday)
• Reporting Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM sharp (candidates arriving after 10:00 AM will not be admitted)
• Venue: CSIR-IIIM, Canal Road, Jammu
• Candidates must bring a duly filled Annexure-I application form along with original documents

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
