Project Assistant – CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru
CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru is hiring one Project Assistant for a project on valorising cephalopod (squid/octopus) ink for food and biomedical applications (Project GAP-677).
Key details:
- Stipend: ₹27,000/month + HRA
- Duration: Up to March 2027, extendable up to 2 more years
- Age limit: 35 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD)
Eligibility:
- Essential: Bachelor’s in Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry
- Desirable: MSc in Fish Processing Technology, Marine Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology; hands-on experience in protein/peptide purification and biochemical analysis
Important note: Candidates who have already completed 6 years as Project Staff across any CSIR lab are not eligible.
