Position Summary
The Faculty of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, invites online applications from Indian nationals (including OCI cardholders) for two purely temporary Assistant Professor posts in the Paramedical College, Faculty of Medicine (Local Advt. No. FM/22/2026, dated 12 June 2026, as amended by Corrigendum D. No. 185/FM, dated 18 June 2026).
The posts are: Assistant Professor (Dialysis Techniques) — 01 post, and Assistant Professor (Anatomy) — 01 post. The pay level is Assistant Professor: AL-10. Appointments are purely temporary and subject to termination at any time without notice or reason.
As per the corrigendum, the revised essential qualifications are: for Dialysis Techniques, a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Dialysis Techniques with a minimum of 55% marks (relevant/allied: M.Sc. in Dialysis Therapy Technology, Dialysis Technology, Renal Replacement Therapy & Dialysis Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, or Renal Sciences & Dialysis Therapy Technology, with minimum 55% marks); for Anatomy, a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Anatomy with a minimum of 55% marks (relevant/allied: M.D./M.S./DNB in Anatomy). Both posts additionally require two research publications as first or corresponding author. A Ph.D. degree in the concerned paramedical subject is preferable.
Following the corrigendum, the last date for online application forms is extended to 27 June 2026 (up to 11:59 PM), and the last date for the hard copy of the online-filled form is 6 July 2026 (not received after 4:00 PM). A non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 applies per form (PwD candidates exempt).
The Local Selection Committee for eligible candidates will be held on 13 July 2026 in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine — Dialysis Techniques at 12:00 noon (reporting 11:30 AM) and Anatomy at 12:30 PM (reporting 12:00 noon). No separate interview letter will be issued. Applications must be filed online via https://careers.amuonline.ac.in, with the hard copy and self-attested documents sent to the Office of the Dean, JNMC, AMU, Aligarh–202002.
