The Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology (IPMB) has two open positions in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy, each with a workload of 19.75 hours per week, initially for a fixed term of 3 years, starting on October 1, 2026:

Academic employee for doctoral studies (f/m/d)

in the field of drug delivery with a focus on immunotherapy. We are looking for a motivated and open-minded individual with a passion for research and teaching.

The area of ​​responsibility:

• Conducting an independent doctoral project in the field of modern drug delivery systems
• Development and characterization of nanoparticles for the transport of nucleic acids (e.g., mRNA, siRNA)
• Design and production of innovative biomaterials for the controlled release of nanoparticles
• Participation in interdisciplinary research projects within the context of the SynthImmune Cluster of Excellence
• Active participation in the teaching of pharmacy and molecular biotechnology

Requirements:

• Above-average university degree in pharmacy, molecular biotechnology or a comparable field of study
• Strong motivation for scientific work and the development of own research approaches
• Commitment and interest in teaching, as well as enjoyment in interacting with students
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented work style
• Teamwork skills and very good English skills

Remuneration is based on the TV-L collective agreement.
