Position Summary

ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Mukteswar Campus, Nainital, Uttarakhand, has announced a Walk-in Interview for one position of Young Professional-II (YP-II) under the ICAR-Consortia Research Platform on Vaccines & Diagnostics, ICAR-funded project “Development of multiplex and point-of-care diagnostics for Lumpy skin disease.”

Vacancy: 1 post (Young Professional-II), purely on temporary/contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bacteriology, Virology, Immunology, or Life Sciences.

Desirable Work Experience: Experience in handling mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, immunological techniques, and propagation of viruses.

Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- per month as a consolidated emolument as per ICAR guidelines.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, maximum 45 years on the date of interview, with relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Duration of Project: Initially up to 31.03.2027 or end of the project, whichever is earlier, and extendable based on organizational need and candidate performance.
