Description

The Molecular Genetics of Prokaryotes research group at the Faculty of Biology of the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg is seeking a Technical Assistant as a temporary replacement (65%) for 2 years, starting on June 1, 2026.

Areas of activity:

  • Support for teaching in the field of genetics
  • Genetic engineering work at safety level S1
  • Cultivation and stock maintenance of microorganisms
  • Molecular biological and biochemical work (DNA, RNA, proteins)
  • Order processing

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training as a technical assistant or comparable qualification
  • Solid IT skills
  • very good German and English skills
  • Enjoyment of teamwork
