Description
The Molecular Genetics of Prokaryotes research group at the Faculty of Biology of the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg is seeking a Technical Assistant as a temporary replacement (65%) for 2 years, starting on June 1, 2026.
Areas of activity:
- Support for teaching in the field of genetics
- Genetic engineering work at safety level S1
- Cultivation and stock maintenance of microorganisms
- Molecular biological and biochemical work (DNA, RNA, proteins)
- Order processing
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a technical assistant or comparable qualification
- Solid IT skills
- very good German and English skills
- Enjoyment of teamwork
