Salary

• Senior Research Assistant: Rs. 31,000/- + 10% HRA per month
• Contractual Computer Operator: Rs. 22,000/- per month
• Contractual Labour: Rs. 12,750/- per month

Location
Jaigad, Ratnagiri (Selected candidates will be placed at various locations under University jurisdiction where scheme in question is in operation)

Eligibility

• Senior Research Assistant (Horticulture): M.Sc. in Horticulture
• Senior Research Assistant (Agril. Entomology): M.Sc. in Agril. Entomology / M.Sc. in Plant Pathology
• Senior Research Assistant (Plant Physiology): M.Sc. in Plant Physiology
• Senior Research Assistant (Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry): M.Sc. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry
• Contractual Computer Operator: Graduate in any Discipline, Marathi Typewriting 30 wpm and English Typewriting 40 wpm, and MS-CIT course Passed. (Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in relevant work)
• Contractual Labour: 4th std. passed and experience in the field work

Requirements

• The posts are purely temporary and on contract basis under the scheme “Conducting of impact studies of thermal power plant on mango and cashew plantation”.
• The candidates will be appointed for an 11 month period (or less than that as per project duration).
• Candidates working in various schemes/project should submit the NOC from the concern Incharge along with the application form. If candidates do not produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC), the application will be rejected.
• Candidates should submit a self-declaration certificate of attached self-attested certificates.
• All certificates will have to be produced in original at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for interview.
• The selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking on stamp paper worth Rs. 100/- that he/she will not leave the job during the appointment, shall complete the assignment, and he/she will not claim for appointment on a regular basis.
• The candidate will have to give one month advance notice if he/she desires to leave the job, failing which he/she has to surrender one month salary.
• The list of eligible candidates, date, and time of interview will be displayed on the University website. No separate call letters will be issued for attending the interview.
• The interview will be conducted in the Dept. of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, College of Agriculture, Dapoli (Note: Condition 10 also states the interview will be conducted in the office of Director of Research, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli).

Age Limit
Not more than 38 years (Relaxation as per rule for SC/NT and other categories).
