Salary
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 42,000/- + 18% HRA pm for 3 years as per the DST norms (Rs. 49,560/- per month)
- Laboratory Technician: Rs. 20,000/- + 18% HRA for 3 years as per the DST norms (Rs. 23,600/- per month)

Eligibility
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Post graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Selection Process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions Such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
- In addition to the above qualifications, two years of research experience in the relevant field.
- The PG qualifying degree should be in Veterinary Pathology/Veterinary Public Health/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology /Molecular Biology/ Infectious diseases or equivalent Life/Biological Sciences disciplines.
For Laboratory Technician:
- B.Sc. in Life Sciences
Requirements
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Position type: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and subject to budget availability.
- Duration: 03 (Three) years or completion of the project whichever earlier.
- Desirable Qualification: Having research/work experience and training in microbial sampling, processing, isolation, cell culture studies, molecular techniques, sequencing, bioinformatics. Knowledge of computer Applications and data management. Good Documentation and Communication Skills. Veterinary Postgraduates will be preferred.
- Nature of work: Field and laboratory work (which includes sampling, microbial culturing, cell culture, molecular work, sequencing, bioinformatics, analysis, documentation, report writing etc.)
For Laboratory Technician:
- Position type: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and subject to budget availability.
- Duration: 03 (Three) years or completion of the project whichever earlier.
- Desirable Qualification: DMLT with Hands on experience of techniques in Microbiology/Infectious diseases/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics from reputed institutions.
- Nature of work: Laboratory work, Fieldwork, including microbial culturing, molecular work, data management, drafting and other laboratory related works.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years on the day of Interview as per DST/DBT Norms (applicable to both posts)
Last Date
- Walk-in Interview Date: 03/07/2026 (Friday)
- Reporting Time: 10.30 hrs to 11.30 hrs (Candidates reporting after 11.30am will not be entertained)

- Eligible candidates must submit the application form on the day of the interview in the attached format.
- Candidates should report with an application on plain paper with their Original Certificates/Testimonials and also one set of self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents.
- Candidates should bring along original certificates in support of age, educational/professional qualification, experience etc., and two recent passport size color photographs.
- No traveling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for appearing in an interview or for joining the post.
