About the role

The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to join the WE CARE Centre and the Women’s Cancer Department with an open-ended contract. The candidate needs to have experience in either wet-lab procedures or bioinformatic analyses of complex data including genomics/multiomics datasets relevant for the current interests of the group.

The is offered at UCL Grade 7  £45,103– £56,950, incl. London Weighing Allowance

A PhD or equivalent professional qualification is required for this role. They will need to show evidence of independent and original contributions to the research. They will also need to be willing and can contribute to the wider research and teaching programme of the Centre.

About you

We are seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with either wet-lab experience or bioinformatic skills in analyses of complex data including multiomics datasets to work collaboratively with other team members, whilst developing their own research niche within the Centre.

The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Filipe Correia Martins (Centre lead) and will work with the research group and collaborators’ network and will be supported to build new collaborations as required. PhD or equivalent professional qualification is required for this role. If the PhD has not yet been awarded, the initial appointment will be at Grade 6B with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD Thesis.
