Recruitment of Teaching Associate in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

Position Summary

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University’s Advanced Post Graduate Centre (APGC), Lam, Guntur, has announced a Walk-in Interview for the post of Teaching Associate in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, on a purely temporary, full-time contractual basis.

Vacancy: 1 post, with a contract duration of 11 months from the date of joining, or until the regular post is filled, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold either a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, or a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology along with a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. Applicants also need at least 3 years of teaching or research experience, and at least one research paper published in an SCI-indexed or NAAS-rated (≥4.0) journal. Master’s degree holders applying for this post must additionally have qualified NET.

Remuneration: Ph.D. holders will receive Rs. 67,000/- per month plus applicable HRA, while Master’s degree holders will receive Rs. 61,000/- per month plus applicable HRA.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for male candidates and 45 years for female candidates.

Interview Details: The walk-in interview will be held on 18.06.2026 at 11:00 A.M. at APGC, Lam, Guntur. Candidates must bring all original certificates along with one set of bio-data, photocopies of educational qualifications/certificates, proof of social status (if applicable), and a passport-size photograph.

The engagement can be terminated anytime without notice, though candidates may resign by giving one month’s notice or salary in lieu.
